Destiny is for losers. It's just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen. - Miss Blair Waldorf

Summer In The City Photography

The weathers been lovely recently and I was in town, and something just made me think of how hot it must be in the city, so I thought I'd do a post of some photo's of summer in the city!  Some of these are more focused on the surroundings than the fashion and others are more focused on the fashion as I'm sure you can tell. Also, what are people's opinion on these photography posts, any recommendations?

And on the Twelfth day of Christmas...

And on the Twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, love. This entire year, I've been gotten through by my wonderful boyfriend, who has put up with my tantrums, and my being so stressed out and has been so supportive, and still managed to surprise me. So for the 12th day, that's what I want everyone to have, love. Have a good christmas! xoxo

On the Tenth Day of Christmas...

I love this jacket by Hobbs of London, I saw a girl recently with one of these on, with grey leggings and green traditional wellies, and she just looked rather chic, I was a little jealous since one of these would make me look like a farmer instead, but I think if you're tall and slim these look great on! Sort of an effortless country estate chic!

Christmas Shopping & Travel

Christmas shopping on Saturday in Cambridge tomorrow, so there'll be lots of photo's and drawing for the portfolio. But there won't be much spending since still attempting to save for a car.
I also want a blackberry storm, but I somehow doubt I'll be getting one before my 18th birthday, which is a shame... But I'd rather a car. I've been paid today and of course can now afford everything that I wanted, but am very aware of my want of a car, and so I'm slowly struggling to not spend it. I've already rejected £35.00 worth of Fashion books, which is a shame cause they were really nice.
Also thank you for who ever viewed my site on Tuesday, I had 40 views in one day which was quite impressive. If you liked the post that was made on the 16th, you need to tell me why so you can all have more! more! more!
There is another interview in the works, it's just being fine tuned and a few more details are being added! I'm also trying to line some more people up for you, and will be trying to get more designers to give feed back as well. I'm also still looking forward to fashion week. It will be quite interested to see the NY one since for the first time it will be held at the Lincoln Centre. Which means hopefully that different things will happen, and will be a nice change for the people that normally attend it. I will definitely be watching, and am hoping to maybe manage to actually get to London Fashion week for a day if I can pull it off. Far as I remember Vogue and Top shop cover it on line, so you can watch it as it happens and up date there websites with pictures of other things that are going on as well.

Eurghhhhh

I've eaten FAR too much pizza, and that will teach me to listen to my mother, I'm refusing to have dinner, I ate the pizza 2 hours ago and feel so sick, I rather wish to be sick. But never mind it is my own fault.
I also had PSE today, and while writing my personal statement for UCAS, I though I would check and see how many points Kingston wanted, they wanted me to of done Art & Design instead of Fine art which I've done, so I though I'd better ring the admissions office and ask... Historically they've never taken anyone onto a Design course who did fine art, and plainly put, I stand no chance of getting in... and thus that dream fell apart. But I've found some others but I'm still looking for a london based one to be honest even if it would be expensive. University is a bother so far, even if I am excited to go... still a bother for now.
On the other upside I remembered to take pictures today of what I wore! Even though it wasn't anything special, I really should of tried harder.
But here is where they are from etc. Even though it's all last years.
White long sleeved top - Primark
Leggings - M&S (they're thicker and warmer than Primarks whose have an itchy label)
Green Jumper - River Island (last years but very warm)
And my silver ring is from Accessorize and I currently LOVE it! I'm definitely getting into the whole ring things which is quiet nice!
oh and I know the pictures are quite boring, these were back up ones I intended to take some as I walked to town cause they'd be more interested, but not even for you was I walking to town in the torrential rain, so I'm afraid you're stuck with my back up photo's, so apologies for the bad hair and weirddd smile lol.
