On the Seventh Day Of Christmas....

Apart from wanting Blake Lively's body, I really wanted this dress by Jenny Packham, even if it is from her 2010 Fall collection! it's got an open back and a central slit on it, plus the print and contrasting marine blue stones!? Something she dreamt up! Plus this dress was so made for Serena's little take down! She always wears the nicest dresses when she's out to get someone!

Gossip Girl! Pattern! and Designed Dress!

Excited! Going to town Friday to get some fabric for the dress and a pattern! I want to make a mock up one as well as the real one, and then I'm moving on to the shirt, though I can't find the style of shirt I want to begin with which is causing a small issue. But I started the drawing and little alterations and things like that.

I've also just watched Gossip Girl! Eek! I don't quite understand what happens at the very end between Chuck and Blair in the limousine though somehow I've not quite got that. But I think they are friends, and I think the pumpkin pie was meant to show that he was the foundations and she was the rest sort of thing... not quite following. mean while hating Juliette, I adored her black dress at the end! The dress was from Cut 25 by Yigal Azrouël, and I thought was very hot! Especially with the back revealed a little! I love dresses like that! I did, while trying to find the designer of the dress, come across a similair one by Urban Outfitters, least that's where the link took me but I couldn't find the dress on the website, they had it down as " Silence & Noise Ponte Cutout Back Dress" Incase anybody wants to try and find the dress! It was under $30.00 I believe, so roughly £25.00 I think in GBP.

However I loved Blair's dress! And who else is psyched for the Blair & Dan Take Down!? It's been a while since we've seen anything like that! And Blair do something to make Chuck stop being stupid! It breaks my little gold heart!  The dress was from Barney's in New York. I actually really loved this, especially with her Yellow Louis Vuitton Bag! I also always like her hair, she's more me than Serena but Serena does ooze quite a bit of sex appeal which is why I do love the girl! Although really... The Juliette thing, it's bugging me! And again? In a hospital? Little repetitive?

I also drew yesterday a beautiful backless dress, for some reason I thought of it while I was on the WiiFit, but I plan to paint it etc. before letting you see the page! But I really was quite impressed by myself! I think a red sort of colour, a royal red or something like that, Autumny but sophisticated, but not black... or maybe black... maybe multi-coloured! I've not quite decided yet.

What a sad Friday night...

I've a party sunday, so what am I spending my Friday night doing... Coursework, Portfolio work, and nothing fun!

Also Gossip girl and Vampire Diaries aren't airing till the 2nd... I am dying! Literally.... It's not good! Whatever will I do without the beautiful dresses, and the Blair Waldorf take downs?! And little J is back in it?! Get out already! I thought the season wasn't meant to have so much of her, she really bugs me now. Her and Serena mostly... I just don't understand it.. I lost track, is it still over Nate? So Confused! Someone explain!?

Good morning Monday!

Getting really excited, got my night course later and we're doing the pattern, and it's been kinda hard so far because I'm just not good at maths, but the patterns looking good so far! So I'm a bit excited! And I think today we're going to cut it out and then sew a mock one, but I'm not 100% sure yet.

Also going to be booking my driving test soon! Excited!

Anddd! It's Christmas super close! Really excited about that! I'm loving buying everyone their presents and I've got a little bit more to do on Saturday, as well as some drawing and stuff for my portfolio.

I've also got to start experimenting with some T-shirts for my course. So far I'm going to experiment with

-Tie Dying

- Braiding

- embellishing

-spray painting

So it's getting really exciting, I'm just waiting so that on Saturday I can buy all the stuff I need and hopefully start doing what I want to be doing. I think I'm going to have a bit of a punk rock theme for it, but I'm not entirely sure. I was thinking of doing a crop top too, but then I wondered if that was too little space to create in. But at the moment I'm just looking to draw pictures of clothing.

Also! who saw Gossip girl this week?! OMG! Serena's dress at the end?! I'm so going to be finding who made that, the lace work and everything was incredible! She always gets the nicest dresses I think, the way they move when she walks + her long legs = absolutely stunning!

I had a quick google and it's "Zuhair Murad Fall 2010 RTW Gray Sheer Lace Drape Gown" I'm incredibly jealous. I think it's wonderful, how the lace and then the sort of draped wrap part interact is beautiful.

I really want to try later to draw something inspired by this, I just love how it flows and the different materials used, especially lace, I'm having a real love of lace at the moment just because it's so versatile yet delicate.

Today...

What I wore yesterday and perhaps should of taken the picture when I was a little less grumpy and tired?

 I’ve woken up sadly with an absolute headache, and I don’t mean the people one that you can easily solve. Although I’ve that too. My UCAS is still messed up too, ever since my “Friend” sent it to my teacher to be checked, she’s released it back to me, but I still can’t log on, which wouldn’t be so bad but it says that I’m not taking my A level exams, and also that I want to go to Coventry and not Westminster. Which is really bugging me now, since the only open day I’m attending is Westminster not Coventry… pain much? So I’m still really annoyed at that… and her.

I’m still waiting too warm up since my Dad has opened the windows to let some of the cold air in, and once that has happened… so in a few hours. Then I’m going to go on the Wii (if I can get it to work) and then I’ve some more of my list to do, and also this picture to finish off, but I should be able to finish that today and post a picture.

Here is also my new top that I brought at Debenhams in there sale and used my staff discount, so it cost me something like £6.50 in the end which impressed me no end. Hopefully it’ll be long enough to go over just leggings or something, but it’s cute either way. The necklace is from River Island and I got for £4, but I thought it would go well with leggings or my grey jeans which is quite good. I seem to really like long necklaces and rings atm. I also want to go in with Dad to town and get a ring from there which I was unsure of at the time, but I actually really like, I’m not sure whether to wait and go in with mum tomorrow though which I’ll probably end up doing. The blazer is also from River Island and I ordered online in there sale, it cost me £30 but it’s quite big which I love and is fairly long which is nice, since I prefer stuff to be long, since I can just put a top on over some leggings and then my jacket and not worry about being indecent from behind.
I've also today managed to finish one side of my business coursework, and I hope to later this evening finish this Kiefer picture that I keep starting and stopping!  I also want to do another page in my book for this years course. I've other than that done pretty much nothing since I didn't even manage to get on the Wii, but maybe I'll manage that later anyhow. I also aim to do my history homework as well, since that means that is out of the way, least she hasn't set us an essay this time, and I am thoroughly looking forward to tomorrow! Even though I need to text my driving instructor and see if she has any lessons later in the afternoon.
I also just watched gossip girl. OMG! Chuck and Blair so have to get back together! It's heartbreaking! I hope they will, I think to take down Julietta and that lot, I think they'll manage some devious plan and manage to finally get back together! I read some of the synopsis for next weeks, and lots of Hate sex was on the agenda! Here is the Canadian preview for the next episode! Sorry about the weird size, I dunno how to change that!


I'm also now about to set fire to some bits of paper to put in my art book for research purposes of course... and then I also want to draw a picture of a destroyed city, and then that should add a few extra marks on to my work hopefully. It's getting re-marked in summer and I really need to do lots of work to complete it. I've also at some point got to re-learn all my work from last year to re-take my Tudor paper which I hated. Least this year it's more coursework than exams. But I'll post a video of last years portfolio for you so that you can see the work I did in my book, my final piece is still at school I'm afraid. I looked at society and how everything in upper society is all nice looking and how it's only when you get lower down socially that you begin to see the cracks in the city. So it was based on high society and how they couldn't see the cracks in their perfect society. It was also of course based heavily on fashion, as is all of my work.
I'm also looking forward to getting a dress making mannequin soon if all goes to plan! I'm gonna save up for one and try to buy one off the internet since they aren't too expensive hopefully. But I'm going to wait till the end of the month to get one because I don't want to spend all my money at the beginning of the month again.

A half and half day

So I had a successful morning, I posted my orders, and I tidied under my bed and tidied my wardrobe... and then it just went to pot, I ate farrrr too many cookies >< and I did nothing...where did it all go wrong?! It's not very good that's for sure, I also looked rather nice but I'll take some pictures later maybe, once my mummy has gone to work, I'll take some outside for a change, since that should be fun! Hopefully.... 

I DESPERATELY need some batteries for my good camera, I say this every month, but when I go into town on wednesday I'm going to get some! Or I might walk up to Tesco and see if they have any. Either way I'm getting rechargeable batteries! I'll also tonight take some pictures of my new stuff that I got! (: So at least you can see that!

Okay so this is an odd source. But I do love my Gossip Girl, and I was having a little think earlier. About decisions and stuff, and this pretty much sums it up.
It's true,
a) if you want both, have neither and find the middle ground, cause he's got the best of both!
b) mature decisions are probably a good idea, be less hasty! be more patient. If you deserve it, you'll get it.

New Year... Fresh Start

I think I say this every year, at the actual New Year, and the start of the new school year, but this time I mean it. Complete fresh start, I will work hard and concentrate and not skip lessons, and I will get amazing grades, and I will go out more, so nothing too bad!
So to do this year:
-Keep loosing weight
-Don't let people aggravate me cause they are silly
-Work during my free's
-Draw more clothing designs
-Blog far better than what I am!
That shouldn't be too hard to do?
Anyway this is day 1:
I've had a pretty rubbish day, a really sucky day, my friend messed up one of my subjects because of a falling out with some girl in the class, and so got us both moved, but that would be breaking the second rule, so I am over it. And I'm retaking 1 side of history and my first Art unit, so not too much extra work...
On the upside I got onto the night course for pattern cutting and dressmaking, so that is really good and has so far made my day. I feel far more confident in my abilities now and my future, which is always important. I've also a friend's party to look forward to aswell, and I've lots of new clothes to pick from to wear. Although I need to get rid of the blisters that I have at the moment really, so I'm about to google and see if I can find anything that will apparently help. Any suggestions girls?
So today was sucky, but I've picked up which is always good, I will also be putting up pictures of what I wear every day and will put as a caption where they are from, since I thought it might be a fun idea.

The Pretty Reckless!!!

So I Loveeeeeee! The Pretty Reckless! the one with Taylor Momsen in, from gossip girl, she plays jenny humphrey (which I am also in love with) and I’ve tried using Limewire to download the songs for free only to get the live ones, well most of them anyway. So I’ve decided to wait till the album comes out, but don’t you hate that when you have to wait ><
So I just checked HMV again, after going into the official forum for TPR and now they have it under “coming soon” which is brilliant! since before they didn’t have it on there at all!
I also yesterday found the official Vevo chanel for them, and they had a song on their that I didn’t know! so I downloaded it, and it’s really good. But I’m going to put the music video below cause I think it’s a really good one, reminded me of one Evanescence did ages ago. It’s pretty good so I recommend it indefinetly!


She always has really nice hair, has anyone figured out how to get their hair wavy like that? It’d be really cool if someone could tell me, and I’d make a Youtube Video and put it up here for those who are more visual learners. She always has nice shoes too! I definitely this autumn want some shoes like hers, definitely.

They always dress her really well in Gossip Girl, it’s a nice change to see her dressed up a little more clothes wise. And I Loved the shoes they put on her in this picture and the coat, she looks really snug and warm but still has her edgy style mixed in with what they’ve given her, which is nice too, that they would keep her edginess. I can’t wait for Gossip Girl to come back on,I’m afraid when it does there will be lots of posts about it!
